Job description

We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to support customers with advanced industrial automation solutions across a variety of industries. This role combines technical engineering expertise with customer engagement, solution development, and hands-on support for automation applications involving controls, motion, robotics, and machine systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in industrial automation hardware and software and enjoy working directly with customers to solve complex engineering challenges., Customer Engagement & Technical Support

  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop customer-focused automation solutions
  • Lead technical discussions, whiteboarding sessions, and product demonstrations
  • Support customers through prototype, development, and implementation phases
  • Troubleshoot and drive technical issues toward resolution
  • Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to customers

Solution Development

  • Assist with system architecture, application design, and bill of materials development
  • Recommend optimal automation technologies for customer applications
  • Support integration and commissioning efforts for automation systems

Documentation & Project Support

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and technical records
  • Support multiple customer projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related automation/mechatronics discipline

  • Hands-on experience designing, building, and commissioning industrial automation systems
  • Deep understanding of industrial automation hardware and software, including:
  • PLCs
  • Motion control systems
  • Robotics
  • HMIs
  • Distributed I/O
  • Industrial networking and fieldbus systems
  • Experience with IEC 61131-3 programming languages
  • Proficiency with C#, C++, and/or Python
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently, * Experience with EtherCAT or similar industrial communication protocols
  • Linux or FreeBSD experience
  • Object-oriented programming experience within automation platforms
