Job description

We are looking for a Demand Planning & Business Analytics Specialist to support demand planning, forecasting, order coordination and business reporting. Working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure accurate demand forecasting, improve supply chain visibility and support data-driven decision-making across the business.

You will be responsible for:

  • Analysing, consolidating and validating customer demand using historical data and external factors to create reliable demand forecasts.
  • Working with Product Managers to maintain accurate forecasting and demand planning processes.
  • Maintaining forecast, revenue and control files.
  • Monitoring forecast accuracy, analysing forecast error and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Identifying demand risks, supply constraints and potential bottlenecks.
  • Tracking delivery performance, analysing plan versus actual variances and monitoring open customer demand.
  • Supporting the coordination and communication of delivery schedules, priorities, pull-ins and push-outs.
  • Preparing standardised updates on delivery status, product availability and schedule changes.
  • Creating, maintaining and enhancing business reports and dashboards, particularly using Power BI.
  • Driving automation of reporting and data analysis to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Supporting the harmonisation of data structures, KPIs and business systems.

Requirements

You are an analytical and detail-oriented professional with experience in demand planning, supply chain management or business analytics. You enjoy working with data to improve forecasting accuracy, optimise planning processes and support business decisions., * A commercial or technical qualification, Certified Specialist, Bachelor Professional or equivalent, ideally with a focus on Data Analytics.

  • Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, Sales Controlling or Business Analytics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas and data analysis.
  • Experience using ERP systems and business intelligence tools, ideally Power BI.
  • A good understanding of forecasting methodologies, KPIs and planning processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with complex datasets.
  • Fluent English (minimum B2) and German (minimum C1).
