Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technology Support Engineer to assist team members by serving as the primary contact for concert technology needs, executing maintenance and supporting basketball games in a scoring engineer role.

Your Role on the Team:

  • Oversee building concert technology equipment and serve as primary point of contact for the majority of concerts that enter the building. Will be responsible for deploying comms, assisted listening systems, supporting signage requests and other needs as assigned.
  • Serve as a Tier 1 agent in the execution of helpdesk, audio, broadcast, and signage requests. Responsibilities could include: relocation and installation of TVs, scheduling signage, relocating printers and computers, perform cable maintenance, mix audio for small events.
  • Support broadcast and network engineers in network programming and patching, as well as video and audio routing. Serve as scoring engineer on gamedays as assigned., We believe great organizations are built by great people. Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong growth mindset - an eager worker and learner will thrive in this role
  • Willingness to lift heavy equipment and work on hands and knees
  • Audio and video production experience
  • Familiarity with basketball scoring systems, particularly Tissot and Daktronics
  • Experience in a helpdesk environment
  • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work odd hours
  • Experience terminating various cables (XLR, ethernet, etc)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 or more years’ experience producing live events, preferably in an arena atmosphere, broadcast environment, or live sports OR 2 or more years’ experience in a helpdesk environment
