Job description
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues, ensuring timely resolution of employee requests.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, operating systems, software applications, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Monitor and support the daily operation of servers, networks, and IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
- Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and cybersecurity.
- Develop, maintain, and document IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Coordinate with technology vendors and service providers for support, maintenance, and implementation of IT solutions.
- Assist with the deployment of new technologies and system upgrades that support business objectives.
- Partner with department leaders to understand technology needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Maintain compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and industry best practices.
- Support IT budgeting, asset management, and technology planning initiatives.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends, and industry developments.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Systems Administration, or IT Operations.
- Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Windows-based hardware, operating systems, and software.
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, networking, and user account issues.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and technology providers is a plus.
