Job description

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues, ensuring timely resolution of employee requests.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, operating systems, software applications, printers, and other peripheral devices.
  • Monitor and support the daily operation of servers, networks, and IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
  • Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and cybersecurity.
  • Develop, maintain, and document IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with technology vendors and service providers for support, maintenance, and implementation of IT solutions.
  • Assist with the deployment of new technologies and system upgrades that support business objectives.
  • Partner with department leaders to understand technology needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Maintain compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and industry best practices.
  • Support IT budgeting, asset management, and technology planning initiatives.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends, and industry developments.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Systems Administration, or IT Operations.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Windows-based hardware, operating systems, and software.
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, networking, and user account issues.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and technology providers is a plus.
