The Warehouse Technician plays a key role in ensuring the accurate, safe, and efficient handling of materials within a busy supply store environment. This position is responsible for loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments, moving and organizing inventory within warehouse racks, and maintaining precise electronic records of material quantities and locations. The role requires consistent adherence to safety procedures, careful operation of material handling equipment, and flexibility to support overtime and weekend operations in a safety-sensitive setting., * Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments using material handling equipment, ensuring materials are accurately moved into and out of warehouse racks and between designated locations.
- Safely operate assigned material handling equipment, complete required equipment inspections, and ensure all equipment is in proper and safe operating condition.
- Immediately report all accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to the supervisor to support a strong safety culture.
- Stock, arrange, and rotate products to support efficient warehouse inventory turns and easy access to materials.
- Perform cycle counting to determine accurate material quantities and identify any discrepancies in inventory records.
- Receive material into inventory, move material by quantity between designated warehouse locations, and accurately locate and pick material as required for orders or internal needs.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and all relevant data fields to maintain accurate electronic records of receipts, inventory, and locations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving material quantities and part numbers to keep inventory data accurate and up to date.
- Locate and store parts while ensuring pallets are stable, pallet heights are appropriate, racking and equipment are not damaged, and materials are not left in aisles or other unsafe areas.
- Consistently practice safe material handling techniques in all warehouse activities.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, keeping work areas, aisles, and storage locations clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Maintain clear aisles and safe racking conditions to support efficient workflow and compliance with safety standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime and weekends as required to meet operational demands.
- Fulfill all responsibilities in accordance with the requirements of a safety-sensitive role, maintaining focus and attention to detail at all times., This role is based in a warehouse supply store environment that relies on material handling equipment such as forklifts and other devices for loading, unloading, and moving materials. Work is performed around racking systems, pallets, and designated storage locations, requiring consistent awareness of safety practices and clear aisles. The environment involves standing, walking, and handling materials throughout the shift, with an emphasis on maintaining clean, organized work areas through regular housekeeping. - Strong understanding of safe material handling practices and the ability to follow established safety procedures at all times.
- Experience performing cycle counting and other inventory control activities to determine accurate material quantities.
- Ability to accurately receive materials into inventory and move materials between designated warehouse locations.
- Skill in verifying part numbers, quantities, and related data fields to maintain precise electronic inventory records.
- Capability to identify and resolve discrepancies involving material quantities and part numbers.
- Attention to detail when stacking and stabilizing pallets, ensuring safe pallet heights and preventing damage to racking and equipment.
- Ability to keep aisles clear and maintain good housekeeping standards in a warehouse environment.
- Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed to support operational requirements.
- Comfort working in a safety-sensitive role with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or supply store environment.
- Familiarity with electronic inventory management systems and data entry related to receipts, inventory, and location tracking.
- Basic understanding of warehouse layout, racking systems, and material flow.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively stock, arrange, and rotate inventory.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a consistent commitment to meeting operational schedules.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
