Job description
- Design, deploy, manage, and optimize large-scale Kubernetes (EKS) environments supporting mission-critical applications.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
- Build automation tools and operational frameworks using Python and Linux shell scripting.
- Support and enhance cloud-native platforms, including API management solutions (Apigee, AWS API Gateway) and Confluent Kafka services.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application issues across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps best practices.
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure platform solutions.
- Monitor platform health and performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, on-call rotation, and operational support activities
Requirements
- 3+ years of AWS DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters (EKS) in production environments.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform and Ansible.
- 5+ years of Python and Linux shell scripting experience focused on automation and platform engineering.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale solutions in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including EKS, EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda, and VPC.
- Strong understanding of AWS networking, including VPCs, Transit Gateways, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and Security Controls.
- Advanced Linux systems administration experience.
- Solid networking fundamentals with hands-on troubleshooting experience across Layers 4-7, TLS, and certificate management.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
- Experience working within Agile, CI/CD, and DevSecOps environments., * Engagement in a collaborative and innovative team environment.
