Job description
- The Training Consultant will deliver high-impact corporate training on Microsoft 365 Suite , company tools, policies, and integrated applications.
- The Training Consultant should consider themselves an SME with MS Excel and Word, specifically
- You will design, develop, and deliver both instructor-led and virtual training sessions, provide one-on-one coaching, and create asynchronous content (videos, SCORM modules) to meet diverse learner needs., Full-time (40 hours/week) Training Consultant, reporting to the on-site Vendor Training Manager, contributing as part of the training team., Instruction & Delivery
- Deliver instructor-led classroom and virtual training on Microsoft 365 Suite, company tools, policies, and integrated applications.
- Provide one-on-one coaching and post-training reinforcement, including online modules and presentations.
- Manage course calendar, catalog descriptions, and course updates.
Curriculum & Instructional Design
- Design, develop, and implement training curricula, materials, manuals, and job aids for varying skill levels and delivery formats.
- Assess training needs and customize learning solutions.
Analysis & Evaluation
- Assist with evaluation of training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, KPIs, LMS (e.g., Workday) reporting and frameworks (e.g., Kirpatrick Model or Phillips ROI).
- Collaborate with HR and department leaders to align training with business goals.
- Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates and best practices and integrated applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-8 years corporate/technical training experience, including curriculum design and delivery and ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learners.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) including long document production training, Excel and Power Tools data analysis, and troubleshooting best practices.
- Strong facilitation skills for in-person sessions (20+ participants) and virtual sessions (2-3 years) using Microsoft Teams and engagement tools.
- Experience creating asynchronous content (videos, SCORM modules), using LMS platforms (2-4 years), and eLearning tools (Adobe Captivate preferred).
- Skilled in business needs analysis, learning analytics, and instructional effectiveness evaluation.
- Familiarity with one or more Evaluation Models, Adult Learning Methodologies with differentiated instructional multimodal learning, or Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
- Strong facilitation, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
