Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. In this high-level technical role, you will be responsible for the implementation, continuous improvement, and sustainability of reliability systems and processes across our manufacturing facility. Your primary focus will be maximizing equipment uptime, reducing operational costs, and ensuring peak efficiency for critical heavy steel processing and fabrication equipment (including automated lasers, cut-to-length lines, and heavy structural rolls)., * Program Leadership: Lead the development, management, and coordination of asset reliability programs for all primary steel processing machinery and support equipment.

  • Predictive Maintenance (PdM): Establish, optimize, and maintain robust preventive and predictive maintenance programs (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis) to eliminate unplanned downtime.

Root Cause & Defect Elimination

  • Asset Analysis: Drive production uptime using formal reliability tools and processes-including Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA)-to identify, isolate, and resolve chronic equipment failures (ā€œbad actorsā€).
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Provide expert engineering oversight and advanced troubleshooting advice to maintenance technicians and operations teams on complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Design and implement engineering solutions to eliminate repetitive equipment failures, supporting Willbanks’ commitment to continuous improvement and ISO quality standards.

Operational Compliance

  • Safety & Standards: Ensure all reliability activities, equipment modifications, and engineering solutions comply with OSHA safety standards and facility ISO quality management protocols.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical engineering?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering?, * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Reliability, Mechanical, or Electrical) required.

  • Experience: * 5+ years of dedicated reliability engineering experience within a heavy industrial manufacturing, steel processing, or metal fabrication environment.
  • Technical Skills: * Direct experience implementing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles.
  • Strong technical expertise in applying Precision Maintenance techniques to heavy machinery (hydraulics, heavy-duty gearboxes, and automated systems).
  • High proficiency utilizing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) or CMMS software (e.g., Maximo) for data-driven decision-making.
  • Certifications (Highly Preferred): * Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Leader (CRL).
  • ASNT Level I or II certifications in Predictive Maintenance technologies (e.g., Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography).
