Appium Generative AI Git Integration Tests Playwright

Job description

  • Own end-to-end testing for iOS, Android, web, API, and in-store applications.
  • Lead functional, integration, regression, exploratory, accessibility, and cross-platform testing.
  • Build and maintain scalable Playwright automation using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve test coverage.
  • Use Claude AI and other AI tools to accelerate test design, automation, defect analysis, and documentation.
  • Coordinate on-site and offshore QA teams to deliver sprint commitments, including test plans, test execution, automation, defect management, and status reporting.
  • Track test dependencies, risks, blockers, and deliverables throughout each sprint.
  • Lead defect triage and provide clear release-readiness recommendations.
  • Validate shopping journeys and store workflows, including loyalty, checkout, inventory, fulfillment, clienteling, and associate tools.
  • Partner with product, engineering, business, and store operations stakeholders.
  • Mentor QA engineers while remaining hands-on with testing and automation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of QA experience, including experience leading testing teams.
  • Proven experience coordinating on-site and offshore QA teams in an Agile delivery model.
  • Strong mobile testing experience across iOS and Android.
  • Strong web, responsive, cross-browser, API, and integration testing experience.
  • Hands-on expertise with Playwright and JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git, test-management, and defect-tracking tools.
  • Experience with Appium, accessibility, visual, performance, and device-cloud testing.
  • Experience testing retail, e-commerce, payments, loyalty, inventory, fulfillment, point-of-sale, or in-store applications.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and cloud platforms.
  • Experience using Claude AI or similar generative-AI tools in QA workflows.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with phased and parallel releases.
  • Quick learner with strong analytical, prioritization, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Polite, clear communicator who works effectively with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on-site in We are’s downtown San Francisco office four days per week.
