Job description
Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an ISSO supporting an Intelligence Community Customer.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of RMF documentation and artifacts, ensuring proper security controls and safeguards are implemented for all systems.
- Collaborates with the ISSE and other engineering teams to assess and integrate security controls, providing security guidance for design and implementation efforts.
- Monitors and manages the security posture of systems, ensuring that security controls are effective and compliant with applicable standards and regulations.
- Conducts security assessments and audits, identifies vulnerabilities and recommends mitigations to strengthen the overall security posture.
- Reviews and maintains security-related documentation, ensures all system components and information types are clearly described and aligned with security policies.
- Provides support for security authorization and accreditation processes, ensures compliance with federal laws and regulations and assists in the creation of security.
Requirements
Degree and Years of Experience: 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.
- 6 years of Cyber Security work experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree.
Required Certifications:
- DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE, CAP) required.
Desired Certifications:
- ITILv4 Foundation certification.
- DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level III certification (i.e., CISSP or CISM) desired., * Proven ISSO experience across a large-scale enterprise Information Technology (IT) program.
- Familiar with Scrum methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Nesssus (ACAS), Splunk, STIGS, SCAP tools.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with ServiceNow.
- Proficiency with eMASS and Xacta.
