Job description

Capgemini Government Solutions is seeking a Senior Salesforce Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions supporting critical federal missions. This role is ideal for a seasoned architect who thrives at the intersection of technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and large-scale digital modernization.

As a trusted technical leader, you will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, delivery teams, and executive leadership to design secure, scalable, and innovative Salesforce-based solutions that drive mission outcomes across the federal government., As a Sr. Salesforce Architect, you will:

  • Work on high-visibility federal transformation initiatives
  • Influence enterprise architecture strategy and solution direction
  • Collaborate with talented architects, engineers, and business leaders
  • Contribute to innovation, thought leadership, and solution development
  • Lead architecture and technical design for complex Salesforce implementations and modernization initiatives
  • Define enterprise solution architectures across Salesforce platforms and integrated technologies
  • Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices
  • Design secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions that align with federal requirements
  • Lead architecture reviews and provide technical oversight throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Develop integration strategies across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise systems
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate mission and business requirements into technical solutions
  • Mentor development teams and emerging architects
  • Support proposal efforts, solution development, innovation initiatives, and technology strategy discussions
  • Ensure compliance with federal security, privacy, and governance requirements

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is required. * Eligible to acquire and maintain Government Security Clearance. * Associate degree or equivalent experience. * 12+ years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS solutions * 5+ years leading architecture and development of complex enterprise applications * Demonstrated expertise in: Enterprise architecture, System integrations, Platform security, Scalability and performance, Application lifecycle management, Platform governance

  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect (required)
  • Salesforce Certified System Architect (required)
  • Must reside and work within the United States
  • Ability to be remote outside of the Washington DC area, must be able to work during EST business hours
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% travel may be required, including occasional meetings in the Washington, DC metro area, * Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government agencies
  • Experience leading large-scale Salesforce modernization programs
  • Knowledge of federal security frameworks and compliance requirements
  • Experience with DevSecOps, API-led integrations, and cloud-native architectures
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or pursuit of CTA certification
  • Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, or Government Cloud implementations
  • Preference for local hybrid ability in the Washington DC metro area

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is 155k - 195k. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
