Job description

The Building People, LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to support a federal facilities management application maintenance and sustainment contract. In this role, you will provide expert architectural guidance and hands-on technical leadership for a complex, heavily customized IBM TRIRIGA environment., * Provide architectural analysis and design for system enhancements, upgrades, and customizations

  • Guide development teams on best practices for TRIRIGA platform and application architecture
  • Support version upgrades and platform migrations, including transitions between TRIRIGA application and platform versions
  • Oversee the architectural integrity of custom business objects, workflows, forms, queries, and integrations
  • Provide technical direction for integration design between TRIRIGA and external systems, including batch and real-time interfaces
  • Support multi-environment management across production, development, test, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and disaster recovery environments
  • Collaborate with the government’s application hosting team on infrastructure coordination and application run book maintenance
  • Contribute to security assessment, certification, and accreditation activities by providing required application architecture documentation

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with IBM TRIRIGA software architecture, customization, and support
  • Experience with TRIRIGA on IBM WebSphere Liberty application servers and Microsoft SQL Server databases
  • Strong working knowledge of TRIRIGA platform and application architecture, including custom module development, workflow design, and UX configuration
  • Experience supporting multi-environment TRIRIGA deployments, including promotion of code and configurations across environment tiers
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a federal government facility access credential

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with TRIRIGA platform version 5.x and application version 11.x
  • Familiarity with TRIRIGA CAD Integrator, Business Intelligence Reporting Tools (BIRT) reports, SQL reporting, and TRIRIGA Data Connect
  • Prior experience supporting federal government IT contracts, particularly in a facilities or asset management context
  • Experience coordinating with a government application hosting branch or equivalent

Work Environment

  • This position is primarily remote, with Eastern Time Zone work hours required. Occasional on-site presence may be required for onboarding activities. Candidates must be able to meet federal government badging and background check requirements prior to commencing work.
