Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer , you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications and microservices that power critical Banking, Financial Services, and enterprise technology platforms. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with architects, business analysts, product owners, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and client stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-quality software solutions., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and related technologies.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements, create technical designs, and deliver scalable software solutions.
• Develop and enhance microservices frameworks while ensuring application performance, reliability, maintainability, and security.
• Build automated unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito and actively participate in code reviews and application refactoring initiatives.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, production releases, troubleshooting, and defect resolution across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and RESTful API development.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting Microservices-based applications.
• Strong understanding of Java 8 features including Lambda Expressions, Streams, Functional Interfaces, Collections, and Multithreading.
• Experience with Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, and SQL development.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools including Jenkins, Maven, Git, Bitbucket, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience creating automated unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
• Experience supporting applications across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
• Experience within Banking, Financial Services, Payments, or Investment Banking domains.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

The annual salary for this position is between $88,000 - $128,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
