Job description
In this contingent resource assignment, you will participate in moderately complex Software Engineering initiatives supporting the Mail & Print Operations technology organization. This team is responsible for applications that support shipping label generation, scanning, printing, and mail processing operations across the enterprise.
The selected candidate will contribute to modernization efforts, cloud migrations, vulnerability remediation initiatives, and the development of scalable cloud-native solutions. This position is heavily focused on .NET development and cloud technologies while working within an Agile environment alongside product and engineering teams. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support applications using .NET Core and related Microsoft technologies
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and Web API services
- Support modernization of legacy applications into cloud-native and containerized solutions
- Develop and optimize SQL Server database solutions
- Participate in cloud migration initiatives leveraging OpenShift and modern deployment platforms
- Support vulnerability remediation and application security efforts
- Integrate and support messaging/event-driven solutions where applicable
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews
- Collaborate with development, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams
- Support application deployments, releases, and production troubleshooting activities
- Assist with CI/CD implementation and automation initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience with .NET Core, Web APIs, and RESTful services
- Strong experience with SQL Server and database development
- Experience with OpenShift (OCP), Autosys, and Agile software development
- Experience modernizing applications and supporting cloud-based environments

Strong coding proficiency and ability to perform in technical interviewsPlusses
