Job description

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering. You will analyze and resolve engineering challenges, contribute to large-scale planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. This role focuses on full stack development, modernization, and adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices within a highly regulated environment. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React/Angular
  • Build event-driven and streaming solutions using Apache Kafka
  • Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, cybersecurity, and platform teams
  • Contribute to code reviews, design reviews, and production support processes
  • Implement secure, scalable, and high-performing enterprise solutions
  • Deploy and support applications on Oracle Cloud Platform (OCP) or similar environments
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices (code generation, automated testing, documentation, etc.)
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation-first engineering practices using tools like Harness
  • Work with both relational and NoSQL databases
  • Participate in modernization efforts and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 6+ years of full stack development experience (Java, Spring Boot, React/Angular)
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka
  • Experience with cloud platforms (OCP preferred) and DevOps/CI/CD practicesPlusses:

  • Experience with Generative AI / LLM integration
  • Experience with Harness or similar CI/CD tools
  • Experience with NoSQL databases and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
