Power BI, Budgeting Dashboard Operations Leadership Management Governance Investments Forecasting Presentations Business Case Microsoft Excel Decision Making Business Metrics Financial Acumen Vendor Management Supply Management Corporate Finance Financial Analysis Performance Metric Business Valuation Workflow Management Structured Analysis Microsoft PowerPoint Business Intelligence Full Stack Development Operational Data Store Investment Performance IBM Planning Analytics Artificial Intelligence Business Transformation Critical Illness Insurance Verbal Communication Skills Cross-Functional Coordination Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), This role supports both the Technology Investment Office (TIO) and the Vendor Management Office (VMO)-small, highly collaborative teams responsible for execution, financial oversight, and governance across the technology and vendor portfolio.

The position focuses on delivering financial and operational visibility into IT investments and vendor-related activities through structured analysis, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. Success requires strong ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership., * Track funding, spend, forecasts, variances, and remaining balances across assigned initiatives

• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities
• Translate findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations

Reporting, Metrics & Dashboards

• Develop and maintain performance metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and analytical reporting
• Support leadership decision-making with accurate, timely, and well-structured outputs
• Create executive-ready materials, including PowerPoint presentations and summary views

Governance & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Support governance processes and approval workflows across enterprise initiatives
• Coordinate inputs, validate data, and prepare materials for review forums
• Partner closely with IT, Finance, PMO, Supply Management, Regulatory, and business stakeholders

Day-to-Day Collaboration

• Operate in a highly matrixed environment with frequent cross-functional interaction
• Independently drive work forward, follow up on dependencies, and ensure data accuracy, * Monthly: Report on capital results and forecasts; develop dashboards (Power BI exposure helpful)
• Quarterly: Track budget performance and support adjustments
• Ad Hoc: Analyze capital budgets and present insights to leadership

Vendor Management Office (VMO)

• Manage and analyze vendor investment funds
• Track and report investment performance to executive leadership
• Support governance processes and daily fund requests

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field preferred (relevant experience highly valued)
• 2-8 years of professional experience with strong financial analysis and governance exposure
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, matrixed environment __________________

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
