Job description

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to support enterprise database environments through database management, administration, performance tuning, maintenance, and system optimization. If you excel at ensuring data integrity, high availability, and secure database operations, we want to hear from you!, * Design, maintain, and enhance logical and physical database models and structures.

Perform database backups, recovery, exports, imports, refreshes, and reorganizations.

Requirements

Core Database Administration: Solid experience in database management, object maintenance (tables, indexes, views, schemas), upgrades, patching, and environment maintenance.
Performance Tuning & Optimization: Proven ability to troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize database performance and storage utilization.
Architecture & Data Modeling: Strong knowledge of logical and physical database architecture, data modeling, ERDs, and schema structures.
Security & Continuity: Experience managing database security, access controls, backup/recovery processes, and high availability (HA) configurations.
Documentation & Communication: Excellent communication skills to maintain data dictionaries, configuration files, and technical documentation.

Preferred (Bonus Points)

Experience supporting large-scale enterprise-level database environments.
Familiarity with capacity planning and modern database optimization/monitoring tools.
Public Sector / State-level project experience., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Administration, or a related field is preferred.
