Job description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
  • Work hand-in-hand with the R&D team to streamline CI/CD pipelines, reduce build times, and make deploying code seamless.
  • Collaborate with the development team to debug performance bottlenecks, optimize Ruby/Rails environment configurations, and improve overall system reliability.
  • Partner with developers to build, monitor, and optimize the infrastructure required to run, fine-tune, and query emerging AI capabilities.
  • Implement and manage robust logging, alerting, and monitoring tools to ensure high uptime and quick incident response.

Requirements

Must Have

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
  • Deep proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong expertise with Docker and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting applications built in Ruby (understanding of Bundler, Puma/Passenger, and memory management).

Nice to Have

  • A strong understanding of modern software engineering principles.
  • Practical experience supporting AI/ML features (e.g., working with vector databases like Pinecone/Milvus/pgvector, managing API integrations with major LLM providers, or handling local model deployments and GPU scaling).
