Job description

The Developer designs, builds, tests, and maintains software using SLTX developing language NET Core and .NET Framework (C#), TypeScript as well as React.js. Responsibilities include developing new applications, improving existing, and ensuring systems are efficient, scalable, and meet user needs. This role involves working closely with team members across different parts of SLTX’s systems, so strong collaboration and problem-solving skills are essential.

Essential Responsibilities:

Development:

· Create algorithms, flowcharts, and write clean, scalable code based on specifications.

· Participate in project cycles, including system updates, within an agile environment.

· Take part in code reviews and provide feedback on designs and solutions.

· Follow established development standards, policies, and procedures. Work independently and collaboratively as needed.

Testing and Debugging:

· Identify and resolve software defects and ensure functionality through testing and validation.

Collaborating:

· Work with other developers, and stakeholders to define requirements, integrate components, and deliver solutions.

Maintaining and Improving:

· Update and modify existing software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or enhance user interfaces.

Requirements

Programming Languages, Databases and Data Structures:

· Expertise in languages like Java, C++, JavaScript, etc.

· Knowledge of databases, data structures, and algorithms.

· Experience with HTML, CSS, and relevant web frameworks.

· Familiarity with agile and other development methodologies.

Communication:

· Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s in computer science or software engineering or related field. Equivalent education and experience will be considered.

· Minimum of 1 - 3 years of Full-Stack or Developer work experience

· Minimum of 1 - 3 years of .NET Core and .NET Framework (C#), TypeScript

· Minimum of 1 year of advanced skills in:

o React.js and libraries like Redux

o MS SQL and MySQL

o HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation

o Debugging and troubleshooting

o SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)

o Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

· Strong problem-solving and technical thinking skills.

· Ability to understand business needs and turn them into technical solutions.

· Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Good time management and organizational abilities.

Desirable Qualifications

· Knowledge or working knowledge of:

o DevOps experience

o Experience with MariaDB

o Python

o ReSharper or similar tool

  • C#: 2 years (Preferred)
  • React: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Redux: 2 years (Preferred)
