Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Applying Kimball and Inmon techniques such as DDS (dimensional data stores), ODS, slowly changing dimensions, etc.

  • Data flow from source to target to dimension to BI tool
  • Advanced SQL skills - mandatory
  • DDL vs DML
  • how to decompose data to 3NF,
  • how to model relational data
  • ACID transactions
  • Basic performance and security knowledge
  • CAP theorem
  • Java Script - senior level
  • Experience with non-relational/NoSQL data stores
  • Translating technical requirements to solutions using code
  • Snowflake exposure
  • Intermediate experience and skills around Azure Cloud Technologies (Azure Data Factory)
  • Source Control using Git/Git hub
  • Pipelines - creating branches and merges
  • Data Modeling experience a plus
  • Data Modeling techniques
  • Slowly changing dimensions
  • Star schemas
  • Data vault
  • Comfortable in a scrum team environment - (4 analysts, 4 engineers)
  • Self Starter
