Job description

Our client is seeking a junior-level Ribbon Session Border Controller (SBC) Governance Analyst to support governance, compliance tracking, documentation management, and operational reporting efforts for enterprise voice and telecommunications services. This role is ideal for candidates with telecommunications, network operations, IT operations, service delivery, or compliance support experience who are looking to grow within a large enterprise environment.

The analyst will assist with maintaining governance processes, tracking compliance activities, supporting audits, coordinating documentation updates, and developing operational reporting. This position is focused on governance support and operational administration rather than engineering, architecture, implementation, or advanced troubleshooting., * Support governance and compliance activities for enterprise SBC and voice platforms

  • Maintain governance documentation, inventories, process documents, and standards repositories

  • Assist with audit preparation, evidence collection, and compliance reviews

  • Track operational risks, policy exceptions, action items, and remediation efforts

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics for leadership teams

  • Coordinate governance meetings and document meeting outcomes

  • Monitor adherence to established policies, standards, and operational controls

  • Support vendor governance activities and documentation reviews

  • Assist with business continuity and resiliency governance processes

  • Partner with operations, service delivery, and telecommunications teams to ensure governance requirements are met

  • Maintain accurate records within ServiceNow or similar ticketing/reporting platforms

  • Identify opportunities to improve documentation quality and operational processes

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in:

o Telecommunications Operations

o Network Operations Center (NOC)

o IT Operations

o Service Delivery

o Compliance Support

o Technical Business Operations

o Operational Reporting

  • Experience creating reports, tracking metrics, or maintaining documentation

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment * Exposure to enterprise voice, VoIP, SIP, or telecommunications environments

  • Familiarity with Ribbon SBCs, Cisco Voice, or unified communications technologies

  • Basic understanding of governance, risk, compliance, or audit processes

  • Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, SharePoint, or similar platforms

  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts and service management practices

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field

Benefits & conditions

This is fully remote or Charlotte based. This is a 6-month contract with extensions. This is offering 25-34/hr.
