1st shift GIS Specialist

We are urgently seeking a 1st shift GIS Specialist in Southern NJ to join a remediation company. The position requires a solid understanding of GPS hardware, including GNSS Receivers, Base Stations, and Rovers, as well as proficiency in GIS software such as QGIS and ArcGIS. This specialized role involves more fieldwork than typical GIS positions, with responsibilities including working with vector and raster data, data processing, and supporting field technicians in data collection., * Collect, process, and input data extracted from heavy equipment on job sites, such as excavators.

• Track and report site coordinates, movements, and specifications.
• Generate daily metrics and quantity reports.
• Work with vector and raster data for data processing.

• 1+ years of experience in GIS software, including QGIS and ArcGIS, with field applications such as Field Maps and Survey123.
• Remediation experience is a plus, though not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, workflows, and processes.
• Capability to learn new software and GIS systems quickly.
• Basic understanding of Python coding within GIS software.
• Knowledge of GPS hardware equipment, including Trimble.

Shift/Pay:

• Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm
• $30-40 an hour + prevailing wage (based on experience), This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pennsville, NJ. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
