Job description

Responsible for supporting the property’s technology infrastructure through the installation, configuration, and maintenance of PC workstations, laptops, peripherals, and basic network connected devices. Provides frontline support for software, hardware, and routine network related issues, ensuring team members receive timely and effective technical assistance. Delivers exceptional customer service while maintaining a reliable and efficient technology environment. Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate and support the installation, configuration, and routine maintenance of PC workstations, laptops, tablets, thin clients, printers, and related hardware.
  • Provide end-user support by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues; document resolutions and follow established procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests and projects, including contacting vendors for additional technical support or escalation when needed.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 10/11 Professional and the Microsoft Office 365 suite; basic administration experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory (create, modify, and disable user accounts).
  • Basic understanding of network fundamentals (IP addressing, DHCP, VLANs) or an eagerness to learn these concepts.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills when interacting with guests, management, and staff.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot standard office and IT equipment (printers, scanners, POS stations, phones, mobile devices, etc.).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or technical training preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on IT support experience in a high-volume or customer-facing environment preferred.
  • Hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
  • Network+ and A+ certifications, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), and/or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) preferred.
