IT Technician

• Provide technical support to end-users across various platforms, including Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, via help desk systems and customer support tickets.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues related to computers, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime.
• Assist with network troubleshooting tasks such as diagnosing connectivity issues involving LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP protocols, DNS (Domain Name System), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and TCP configurations.
• Support the management of Active Directory accounts, including user account creation, password resets, GPO (Group Policy Object) implementation, and Active Directory management.
• Maintain and support IT infrastructure components such as servers (Windows Server and Microsoft Windows Server environments), switches, routers, and firewalls to ensure network security and stability.
• Perform routine equipment troubleshooting and software troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently while documenting solutions clearly for future reference.
• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of computer hardware and software updates to keep systems current and secure.

• MUST have passport and can travel outside of the USA for quick installations or support resolution.
• MUST be fluent in French
• Proven experience in providing IT support or desktop support within a corporate or technical environment.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11), macOS, and Linux distributions.
• Familiarity with networking concepts such as LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, VPNs, VOIP, firewalls, and network troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with help desk systems and customer support ticket management tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues related to computer hardware components and peripherals effectively.
• Knowledge of Active Directory management, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Microsoft Windows Server environments, and basic analysis skills for diagnosing complex technical problems.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset to assist users clearly and professionally.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are preferred but not mandatory.
