Job description
We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Repair Technician to join a dynamic and fast-paced team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining complex systems across military aircraft, military vehicles, appliances, and specialized testing equipment.
Technicians work from nose-to-tail, gaining hands-on experience across electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems-offering career growth that is rare in the industry.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Perform calibrations, alignments, and precision adjustments
- Inspect and service appliances and test equipment
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
- Create work instructions using drawings, images, and clear documentation
- Maintain detailed maintenance and repair records in compliance with company and FAA standards
- Source parts, compare vendor pricing, and manage inventory and BOMs
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
- Travel occasionally for training, field repairs, or site support
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong background in electronics troubleshooting and repair
- Experience working with high- and low-voltage systems
- Soldering experience (MIG, TIG, or other methods)
- Familiarity with preventive and scheduled maintenance programs
- Ability to draft technical documentation and part drawings
- Experience with inventory control and parts sourcing
- Comfortable using:
- Multimeters, calipers, rulers
- Hand and power tools
- Microsoft Office
- CAD or drawing software
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to interpret technical and safety documentation
- Willing to work various shifts
- Strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork
- Must pass DOT drug screen and background check
- Valid driver’s license and insurable under company policy
Physical Requirements
- Stand, sit, walk, kneel, crawl, and climb for extended periods
- Lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally
- Perform repetitive and hands-on mechanical tasks, * Do you have hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing electronic or electrical systems (such as control boards, test equipment, appliances, or machinery)?
- Have you previously used technical manuals, schematics, drawings, or work instructions to complete repairs or maintenance tasks?
