Job description

  • Diagnose hardware and software problems on laptops and desktop computers
  • Repair and replace components such as SSDs, RAM, screens, batteries, keyboards, charging ports/jacks, and motherboards
  • Diagnose Windows and software-related problems
  • Perform Windows installations, upgrades, virus removal, and basic data-related services
  • Diagnose gaming PCs, including no-display, boot, overheating, storage, RAM, and GPU-related problems
  • Identify when a problem is likely motherboard-related and escalate advanced board repair when necessary
  • Perform basic iPhone and iPad repairs such as screen and battery replacement
  • Assist with game console repairs
  • Properly disassemble and reassemble laptops and other devices
  • Document diagnostics and completed repairs
  • Answer phone calls and provide customers with repair updates
  • Explain technical problems clearly to customers in both English and Spanish

Requirements

Computer Repair Technician - Bilingual (English/Spanish), We are not looking for an advanced microsoldering or board-level technician. We are looking for someone with solid computer fundamentals who can troubleshoot problems, perform common repairs, work independently, and communicate clearly with customers.

Previous repair shop experience is helpful, but not required. Hands-on experience repairing computers at home, building gaming PCs, upgrading laptops, or performing similar work will also be considered., * Must be able to communicate with customers in both English and Spanish

  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and troubleshooting
  • Comfortable disassembling and reassembling laptops and desktop computers
  • Able to diagnose problems instead of only replacing parts
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to work independently after training
  • Comfortable working directly with customers and answering phones

No college degree or certifications are required.

Advanced skills such as microsoldering, PS5 HDMI repair, MacBook repair, and board-level repair are NOT required. Training is available for additional repair skills., $15-$18 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated technical ability.

We are primarily looking for someone who is dependable, technically capable, willing to learn, and able to troubleshoot repairs independently.
