Job description

We are seeking a C# Developer to support a multi-phase application development project for a financial services platform focused on administering 403(b), 457, IRA, and retirement plans. This is a greenfield-heavy effort involving a rewrite of an existing application, replacing manual processes with automated, scalable workflows. The developer will play a key role in building modern APIs, business logic, and data integration capabilities., Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET-based REST APIs to support a financial services platform

Build and implement business logic that drives plan administration workflows

Integrate and process structured data files into backend systems (data ingestion & transformation)

Collaborate with team members to modernize and replace manual processes with automated solutions

Utilize Entity Framework to manage communication between application layers and SQL databases

Participate in application rewrite efforts while referencing legacy logic/rules as needed

Work closely with another developer to deliver features across multiple project phases

Ensure proper data persistence, integrity, and performance across the application

Contribute to version control processes including branching, merging, and repository management

Requirements

5+ years of experience in C# / .NET development

Strong experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs in C#

Solid understanding of business logic development and backend architecture

Experience with Entity Framework (or similar ORM) for database interaction

Strong knowledge of SQL databases (queries, schema design, data handling)

Experience with version control systems (Git, branching/merging strategies, repositories)

Experience working with data ingestion or file processing workflows

Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue preferred, Angular/React acceptable) Experience working on application modernization or full rewrites

Exposure to financial services or retirement plan systems (403b, 457, IRA, etc.)

Experience with data integration pipelines or batch processing

Benefits & conditions

$60/hr to $70/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
