Requirements

TTG Solutions is seeking a skilled Data & Software Engineer to join our team in building complex data flows for custom applications. This role is ideal for someone with advanced Python skills and experience in building and deploying production data pipelines at scale. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements, assess feasibility, and design solutions with minimal oversight. You will build end-to-end data pipelines, utilize orchestration tools for deployment, and containerize applications for cloud environments. Additional responsibilities include performance tuning of MySQL and PostgreSQL, leveraging code control tools, and engaging with data catalogs and lineage tracking. You will also solve data quality issues and contribute to engineering documentation and best practices. 3 years of unrelated experience = 1 year of related experience. Bachelors preferred. Master’s degree = 1 year of additional related experience. 3 certifications and/or other applicable credentials = 1 year of additional related experience.

Requirements: 8-11 years experience

  • Advanced Python programming skills including data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
  • Experience building production data pipelines and ETL/EL workflows at scale
  • Proficiency with Apache Spark and PySpark
  • Understanding of data security, privacy, governance, and compliance principles
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Step Functions or Airflow
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Podman and deployment in AWS
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL, including performance tuning and schema design
  • Experience with SQL and query optimization for complex analytical workloads
  • Proficiency with version control using Git and CI/CD practices
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for data quality issues and performance bottlenecks

  • Experience with data Lakehouse architecture using Apache Iceberg
  • Hands-on experience with data platform components such as Apache Ranger and Trino
  • Proficiency with Bash scripting for automation and data processing
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Experience tracking data lineage with tools like OpenLineage
  • Familiarity with Java
  • Knowledge of data quality frameworks and validation strategies
  • Background in large-scale data migrations or platform modernization
  • Experience integrating AI/ML services and models, including LLMs and RAG pipelines
  • Familiarity with geospatial data processing tools like H3 or PostGIS
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB
