Job description
The primary function of the Cybersecurity Risk Consultant is building and developing business engagement aligned to Cybersecurity#s Risk and Strategy Vision through the development and execution of cybersecurity risk assessments, identification and evaluation of risk scenarios, and identifying projects and measures to mitigate cyber-attack risks. Responsible for understanding business requirements, issues resolution, and sustained customer satisfaction for each line of business in support of cyber-attack risk reduction., * Collaborates with team or peers to work on issues, projects or activities.
- Develops and tracks metrics that provide data for process measurement, business operations or risk assessment.
- Assists with the implementation of process improvements and efficiencies.
- Oversees the a detailed living risk portfolio describing the overall aggregate risk posture of each business unit with supporting details for supported IT systems and applications.
- Monitors implementation of effective risk management across line of business.
- Assists in designing control risk mitigation plans and support business implementation.
Requirements
Minimum:
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
- Job-related technical experience, 2 years
Desired:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
- Utility industry experience
- Job-related technical experience, 3 years
- CISSP-Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification
- CISA-Certified Information Systems Auditor certification
- Record of Residence within 50 miles of job or headquarters
- Knowledge of interface design concepts, methods, best practices, and techniques as applied to software, such as computers, mobile devices, and other electronic devices
- Knowledge of risk and compliance assessment and management theories, concepts, methods, best practices, and techniques
Benefits & conditions
To obtain and maintain employment and unescorted access at DCPP, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check, psychological screen, computer-based training, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below, but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable salary range is: California Minimum: $90,000 California Maximum: $136,000
