Job description
The Network Engineer (Dispatch) role is responsible for providing first and second-level technical support while also managing the efficient assignment and dispatch of service requests. This on-site role ensures end-user issues are resolved promptly-either directly or by coordinating with other technicians-by triaging tickets, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining strong communication between IT and users.

Scope of Work (Dispatch Activities)
- Network device installation, replacement, and troubleshooting
- Rack & stack of network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, APs)
- Cable patching, labeling, and basic cable management
- Hands & feet support for remote network teams
- Site readiness checks and basic validation
- Follow client SOPs and safety guidelines
Mandatory Requirement - Tools
Candidates must carry their own tools, including but not limited to:
- Laptop with Ethernet port/adapter
- Console cable
- Network cable tester
- Crimping tools
- Screwdriver set
- Labeling tools
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer / Field Network Technician
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and basic firewall concepts
- Ability to respond to dispatch requests during standard business hours
- Reliable transportation to reach client sites
- Professional communication and reporting skills
