Job description

Synapse Health is seeking a results-driven Network Manager to support the growth, performance, and operational excellence of our Equip vendor network. Reporting to the Director, Network & Pricing Services, this role is responsible for managing vendor relationships, monitoring performance, and ensuring service quality across our network of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) providers serving hospice agencies, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and other post-acute partners.

This role plays an important part in ensuring vendors meet service level expectations, maintain compliance, and deliver a consistent, high-quality experience to customers and patients. The Network Manager will partner closely with Operations, Implementation, Customer Support, Revenue Cycle, and Product teams to identify opportunities to improve network performance, streamline workflows, and strengthen vendor partnerships.

The ideal candidate is operationally minded, data-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment where collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement are critical.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned DME vendor partners, serving as a primary point of contact for performance, operational, and service-related matters.
  • Monitor vendor performance metrics, service levels, turnaround times, and quality indicators to ensure alignment with contractual expectations.
  • Identify performance gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities, and partner with vendors to implement corrective actions and process enhancements.
  • Support onboarding and integration of new vendors, ensuring operational readiness, documentation, and training requirements are met.
  • Partner with Operations and Customer Support teams to address escalations, resolve service issues, and improve overall network reliability.
  • Track and maintain vendor documentation, certifications, and compliance requirements in collaboration with Compliance and Operations teams.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining vendor scorecards, performance dashboards, and reporting to support leadership visibility and decision-making.
  • Support contract and SLA compliance by monitoring obligations, timelines, and performance commitments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, optimize fulfillment processes, and enhance the vendor and customer experience.
  • Participate in network expansion initiatives, helping identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors in target markets.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to vendor activities, performance, and communications.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute network pricing strategies that balance competitive market positioning, vendor sustainability, and organizational financial objectives.
  • Establish standardized pricing methodologies and governance processes for all network vendors across service lines and geographic markets.
  • Evaluate vendor pricing requests, rate adjustments, and contract proposals to ensure alignment with company pricing strategies and profitability targets.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Account Management to develop pricing solutions that support new business opportunities and existing client growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in healthcare operations, network management, or vendor management.
  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare, DME, post-acute care, operations, or vendor management roles.
  • Experience working with external partners or vendors in an operational or customer-facing environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn operational and reporting systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and follow-through.

Preferred:

  • Experience in DME, hospice, SNF, or post-acute care environments.
  • Familiarity with vendor performance metrics, SLAs, and contract requirements.
  • Experience working with dashboards, reporting tools, or operational analytics.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Strong relationship-building and vendor management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action
  • Experience improving operational workflows or service delivery
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Proactive problem-solving and strong follow-through
  • A customer- and patient-focused mindset
