Salesforce QA Automation Engineer - Hybrid

As a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining automated testing solutions for enterprise applications supporting sales and service operations. You will work within an Agile development environment to ensure the quality, reliability, scalability, and performance of highly distributed applications and integrations. This role requires close collaboration with developers, product managers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to validate functionality, improve test automation coverage, and support continuous delivery initiatives across cloud-based and service-oriented platforms., * Develop, maintain, and execute automated test plans and test scripts for enterprise applications and Salesforce-based solutions.

• Collaborate with Agile team members to ensure quality is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks that support functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements.
• Develop and execute API testing strategies for RESTful services.
• Participate in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) processes.
• Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and developers to define testing requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Support quality assurance activities for distributed, web-based, and cloud-hosted applications.
• Ensure applications meet reliability, availability, and performance expectations.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain test documentation, test cases, test data, and quality metrics.
• Support continuous integration and continuous deployment initiatives through automated testing practices.
• Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams and stakeholders.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Experience testing distributed enterprise applications throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong experience with automated testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience with RESTful API testing and validation.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Swagger, Postman, Rest-Assured, and similar technologies.
• Experience performing performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter.
• Familiarity with Java-based application environments and the Spring technology stack.
• Knowledge of cloud-based application development and deployment environments.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Maven, Bitbucket, Bamboo, MongoDB, Kafka, and related platforms.
• Experience creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, business analysts, developers, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as within fast-paced Agile teams.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams and multiple concurrent projects.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience testing Salesforce platform applications and integrations preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
