Job description

A client with Kforce is seeking an AI-Focused Power BI/Microsoft Fabric Developer to join their team. This is a hybrid opportunity with 2 days onsite required in Altamonte Springs, FL. Summary: In this role, the Developer will support the development and enhancement of modern data analytics and reporting solutions. This role will focus on building dashboards, reports, and data models using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, while also contributing to AI-driven initiatives that are already in production. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing within the Microsoft data ecosystem and exposure to AI/ML solutions deployed in a business environment. Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and semantic models using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
  • Build and optimize data pipelines, dataflows, and datasets within the Fabric platform
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions
  • Support and maintain existing AI-powered applications and analytics solutions in a production environment
  • Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of reports and datasets
  • Work closely with senior developers, data engineers, and business partners to deliver scalable solutions

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Power BI development
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data ingestion, transformation, and reporting capabilities
  • Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling principles
  • Experience developing interactive dashboards and reports for business users
  • Exposure to AI/ML solutions in a production environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
