Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright-based automation testing and API testing to ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end (E2E) testing, regression testing, and API validation, with a good understanding of the Insurance domain, particularly Underwriting, Policy Administration, and Claims processes.

The candidate will work closely with development, business, and onsite teams to deliver high-quality software solutions within aggressive release timelines., * Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.

  • Execute and validate API testing across multiple services.
  • Perform E2E, integration, and regression testing.
  • Identify, track, triage, and validate defects.
  • Collaborate with Development, Business, and Onsite teams for requirement clarification and issue resolution.
  • Support release cycles and ensure adherence to quality gates and entry/exit criteria.
  • Analyze defects and drive timely resolution to meet release timelines.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Playwright.
  • Experience in API Testing using REST/SOAP services.
  • Hands-on experience with Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience in End-to-End (E2E), Integration, and Regression Testing.
  • Good understanding of the Insurance domain, preferably Underwriting, Policy Administration, and Claims.
  • Strong defect management and test execution experience., * CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Cloud exposure: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of test data management and environment coordination.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 65786- 82398

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
