Job description

A law firm seeks a Patent Agent or Technology Specialist in Denver, Colorado, with a background in computer science, electrical and computer engineering, or related fields. The role involves representing technology companies in patent prosecution matters. Candidates may work from any of the firm’s US offices, including New York, Boston, DC, or Denver., * Represent technology companies in patent prosecution matters.

  • Engage in patent strategy, drafting, prosecution, and diligence.
  • Work closely with associates and partners for client matters.
  • Provide immediate client contact and responsibility.

Requirements

  • At least three years of patent prosecution experience.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must pass the USPTO registration exam within one year if not already registered.

Education

  • M.S. or M.Eng. in a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience preferred.

Certifications

  • USPTO registration (or willingness to obtain within one year)., * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in patent strategy and prosecution.
