Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Development Manager to lead our Pega technical organization. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with deep expertise in Pega technologies, a passion for delivering scalable enterprise solutions, and a proven track record of managing high-performing development team.

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Pega developers, architects, and QA engineers.
  • Define and drive the technical roadmap for Pega-based solutions in alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Pega applications.

Project & Delivery Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Pega projects, ensuring quality, performance, and timely execution.
  • Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to Pega best practices, coding standards, and governance models.

Technical Oversight:

  • Provide architectural guidance and hands-on support for complex Pega implementations.
  • Stay current with Pega platform updates and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure technical excellence across the team

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between business, product, and technical teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 8 years in Pega-based solutions.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Pega CLSA (Certified Lead System Architect) certification strongly preferred
  • Proven experience managing large-scale Pega implementations in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud-based Pega deployments (e.g., Pega Cloud, AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks in Pega.
  • Background in eligibility and enrollment systems is a plus.
