Interface Analyst

• Design, define, and customize complex interface schemas, record layouts, and file specifications with external partners.
• Document technical web service specifications, request/response formats, and API contracts for backend system integrations.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot secure SFTP connections and file transfer schedules in compliance with HIPAA.
• Investigate and resolve file transfer failures, connection delays, and cloud-hosted integration issues across AWS and Azure.
• Coordinate with external payers and healthcare trading partners to execute end-to-end integration and user acceptance testing.
• Extract operational database records and generate data exchange files using structured query languages.
• Partner with cross-functional network and infrastruct e teams to approve security and gateway configuration changes.

• 8 or more years of experience performing interface and data analysis within large-scale healthcare IT systems.
• Proficiency in designing XML, XSD schemas, SOAP/REST web services, and FHIR API specifications.
• Experience with managing secure file transfer protocols including SFTP, PGP encryption, and Unix/Linux systems.
• Experience with database verification techniques utilizing SQL to perform rigorous data validations.
• Experience in supporting and troubleshooting application integrations hosted on AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in enforcing HIPAA security requirements and managing healthcare interoperability standards.
• Excellent communication skills to lead cross-functional requirement workshops and present progress reports to stakeholders.
