Job description

Auditing Scheduling Operations Management Accounting Procurement Coordinating Supply Chain Safety Audits Record Keeping Microsoft Excel Microsoft Office Google Workspace Regulatory Filings Environmental Health Artificial Intelligence Environment Health And Safety Continuous Improvement Process Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), The role of EH&S Specialist involves a balanced focus on both operational coordination and continuous manufacturing improvement and safety initiatives. The position requires a 50/50 split between these two critical areas., * Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, visual management, and SOP development.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, standardization, and efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute improvement projects.
  • Provide administrative and project support to the Director of Operations, including reporting, scheduling, meeting coordination, and project tracking.
  • Support tracking of key operational initiatives and follow-up on action items.
  • Handle documentation for audits, training updates, and assist with orders as needed.
  • Perform adhoc tasks for the General Manager and HR.
  • Maintain OSHA recordkeeping, SDS management, injury and illness logs, and required safety postings.
  • Ensure all compliance documentation is accurate, up to date, and audit-ready at all times.
  • Prepare and submit required regulatory filings and reports.
  • Assist with new hire safety orientation and maintain training records.
  • Coordinate internal safety audits and facility walkthroughs.
  • Document findings, assign corrective actions, and track completion.
  • Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day EHS-related questions from the production floor.

Requirements

Benefits & conditions

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, CA. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
