Requirements

Do you have experience in Unity?, We’re looking for an Audio Unity Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive full-time Unity programming experience in games, with a deep specialization in audio systems and implementation. As a senior audio developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of all audio systems within a gaming title. This includes audio architecture, implementation, testing, debugging, and optimization in close collaboration with sound designers and gameplay teams., Very strong skills in Unity, with a focus on audio systems (Unity Audio Mixer, FMOD, Wwise, or similar middleware).

  • Deep understanding of audio programming concepts spatialization, DSP, dynamic mixing, adaptive/interactive music systems.
  • Capable of mentoring junior developers on audio pipeline best practices.
  • Capable of driving audio features independently, collaborating with sound designers, composers, and gameplay programmers.
  • Familiar with audio-specific performance bottlenecks CPU/memory budgets, voice management, streaming, and LOD for audio.
  • Strong debugging skills, particularly for audio-related issues (sync, latency, mixing artifacts).
  • Excellent communication skills, especially bridging technical and creative disciplines.
  • Strong documentation skills for audio pipelines, middleware integration, and technical audio design.

Your Profile:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Unity game developer, with at least 2+ years focused on audio implementation and systems.
  • Proven experience integrating audio middleware (FMOD or Wwise) into Unity projects.
  • Solid understanding of audio file formats, compression, and streaming strategies.
  • A passion for video games and the role of sound in player experience.

Desirable Pluses:

  • Involved in the full development cycle (A-Z) of at least one shipped game title as the audio developer.
  • Familiarity with procedural audio or DSP programming.
  • Experience with audio on mobile and WebGL platforms, including platform-specific constraints and limitations.
  • Solid technical foundation (e.g. Computer Science, Music Technology, or Audio Engineering degree, or equivalent).
