Job description

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with a strong background in Wealth Management and Payments to join our team in Fort Mill, SC. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and Agile development teams to define product vision, manage the product backlog, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives., * Own and manage the product backlog by defining, prioritizing, and refining user stories.

Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional requirements.
Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
Collaborate with Scrum Masters, developers, QA, and business users throughout the Agile lifecycle.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure product features align with business goals and customer needs.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve dependencies and remove blockers.
Support UAT, production releases, and post-production issue resolution.
Track product progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Ensure timely delivery of features while maintaining product quality.

Requirements

4 8 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related role.
Strong experience in Wealth Management domain.
Hands-on experience with Payments (ACH, Wire Transfers, SWIFT, RTP, or related payment systems).
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with backlog management, user story creation, and acceptance criteria.
Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with investment management, portfolio management, or brokerage platforms.
Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance.
Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO) is a plus.
