Job description

ECI has an immediate opening for a Project Manager in Cumberland, ME or August, ME. Under the supervision of an Engineering Manager, the System Integration Technical Manager performs senior-level professional engineering and supervisory work focused on substation automation, protection and controls integration, and SCADA/data systems for utility and renewable energy projects.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Fundamentals of Engineering license?, Do you have a valid Engineer in Training certification?, Do you have experience in WAN?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering?, Minimum Requirements: BSEE or BSCE in Electrical Engineering required; 12+ years of experience in protection, control, automation, SCADA, or system integration for electric utility or renewable energy projects; technical skills substation protection and control systems (SEL, GE, Siemens or equivalent relays); substation automation and SCADA protocols (DNP3, IEC 61850 MMS/GOOSE), RTACs, gateways, meters, PMUs, and data concentrators, Ethernet networking, substation LAN/WAN design, fiber and serial communications, time synchronization (IRIG-B, NTP, PTP); test procedures, FAT/SAT documentation, commissioning support; software experience (preferred) SEL AcSELerator, RTAC SEL-5056/5073 tools; SCADA platforms (OrionLX, OSI, VTScada, Ignition or similar), AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365; PE preferred; EIT/FE required or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe; occasional travel may be required, therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI’s auto insurance carrier
