Job description

Lead a team of Java developers and provide technical leadership.
Participate in solution architecture and design discussions.
Conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
Mentor junior developers and drive technical excellence.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in Java development.
Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs.
Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security).
Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, design patterns, and performance tuning.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Domain Experience

Mandatory: Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
Experience with retail banking, commercial banking, payments, lending, or capital markets is highly preferred., * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work onsite/hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA.
