Job description

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for end-user hardware, software, and IoT systems via phone, chat, remote tools, or onsite intervention.
  • Install, image, configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, servers, printers, cameras, and mobile devices, including troubleshooting associated hardware, software, and network services.
  • Manage and prioritize escalated incidents and project tasks through ticketing and project-management systems to ensure accurate, sequenced, and compliant resolution.
  • Lift items over 25 lbs. and work in confined spaces to replace workstations, monitors, run cabling, and perform other physical tasks.
  • Document all hardware and software maintenance, troubleshooting activities, and ticket updates in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain the company’s hardware and software asset inventory, ensuring records are current and accurate.
  • Advise end users on selecting hardware and software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Stay current with developments in workstation and mobile operating systems, and internal networking practices., * Virtual server and desktop infrastructure
  • Enterprise mobility management and deployment of Android devices
  • Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and/or Linux and associated server infrastructure
  • Industrial label printers and multifunction enterprise devices
  • IP Camera infrastructure and video management systems
  • CompTia A+, Network+ and/or Security+ certification

Your Schedule

  • The work associated with this position will be performed onsite

  • Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm from our Anchorage corporate office
  • Occasional work hours outside the normal schedule may be required

  • On call rotation: 1 week, every 3 weeks to support after hours and weekend calls
  • Occasional travel to other Alaska based Service Centers

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ related experience.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secure Identification Display Access (SIDA) badge for Anchorage International Airport access.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school in relevant subject.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • This role requires ongoing authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
