Requirements

  • You bring at least 5 years of experience in data engineering, ideally within a professional services firm, internal analytics team, or similar environment.
  • You have hands-on experience with technologies such as SQL, Spark, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Functions, Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Microsoft Fabric.
  • You’re familiar with cloud-native computing and public cloud platforms like Azure, AWS and/or GCP.
  • You’re proactive, take ownership, and enjoy working collaboratively to solve complex problems.
  • You think beyond your own role and are keen to understand the broader business context.
  • You know how to connect with the right people across the organization to drive impact.
  • Knowledge of modern data architectures (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Vault 2.0, Data Hub,…) and data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) is a plus.
  • You confidently navigate AI topics and are able to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders, make ethically sound decisions and adapt to evolving technologies.
  • Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code is a strong advantage.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
