Job description
Job title Data Engineer Function Advisory - Advisor Roles & Responsibilities Becoming a data engineer at KPMG Lighthouse will allow you to take part in complex data platform & analytics projects through their entire lifecycle. You will develop and extend your technical skills in rationalizing, migrating, and building (cloud) modern data platforms for multiple organizations. You will be working in a modern environment and find yourself surrounded by a multi-disciplinary peer group of over 60 data enthusiasts with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. You will be able to work on data platform activities on highly varied client projects across numerous industries which will allow you to develop your skills and knowledge to the full extent. A dedicated mentor will provide guidance in your area of interest.
Requirements
- You have a master’s degree in computer science, (business) engineering or any other relevant topic.
- Minimum of 2 year of data engineering experience preferably with a professional services firm, an internal strategy/analytics group or similar environment.
- General knowledge of cloud native computing, public hyperscalers (preferably Azure, AWS and/or GCP).
- You have basic knowledge in SQL, python, or any other programming language.
- You are an enthusiastic, driven, and proactive person, taking ownership and accountability in your work.
- You are a team player, and have a can-do mentality.
- You are interested in the bigger picture and able to think broader than your own capabilities.
- You are fluent in Dutch and/or French and have English professional working proficiency.
