Senior Java Test Automation Engineer

Are you a Senior Test Automation engineer who gets excited about building a test framework from the ground up, not just maintaining one?

What you’ll do:

• Design and build test automation frameworks from scratch - your architecture, your standards
• Develop robust API test suites using REST Assured
• Build and maintain UI automation with Selenium WebDriver
• Write clear, business-readable test scenarios using Cucumber (BDD)
• Containerize and run test environments using Docker/Podman
• Collaborate closely with developers to embed quality early in the SDLC

• Strong hands-on experience testing within Java environments
• Proven expertise in API testing (REST Assured)
• Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Practical knowledge of Cucumber/BDD practices
• Track record of building automation frameworks from zero
• Comfort working with Docker or Podman containers
• A senior mindset: you spot risks before they become bugs, and you mentor as you build

• 2 days a week onsite in Brussels with 3 days remote working
• Full-time employment
