Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor and develop the Research & Information Services team.Drive the firm’s research and information strategy, identifying opportunities to improve and modernise services.Oversee the delivery of legal, business and market research across the firm.Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver commercially focused insights.Manage research resources, supplier relationships and library budgets.Evaluate and implement new research technologies, including AI-enabled tools.Develop and deliver research skills training across the business.Monitor KPIs, analyse service performance and drive continuous improvement.Act as the senior point of contact for research and information services across the firm.
Requirements
Requirements:Significant experience within a legal or professional services research environment.Previous experience leading and developing a team.Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.Strong commercial awareness and experience managing research resources and external suppliers.A track record of improving services and driving innovation.Experience with AI-powered research tools and emerging technologies.The ability to translate research into clear, commercially valuable insights.Excellent communication and influencing skills. Experience supporting international teams or holding a qualification in Library, Information or Knowledge Management would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
