To strengthen our team, we are looking for one for our location in Oberhausen (or throughout Germany with a high remote share of 90-95%) as soon as possible Senior Database Developer for Oracle (m/f/d) What you can expect from us: As part of our team of Oracle database developers and administrators, you develop and maintain database components and be creative when designing data models for new functionalities - also in collaboration with colleagues from other Java development teams. Your job as an experienced Oracle database developer includes helping other development teams with SQL optimization and with technical questions or problems relating to Oracle RDBMS. You are also a communicative person and help our customers with the installation, maintenance and maintenance of their databases. This includes analyzing performance problems and resolving them. In addition, you enjoy new technologies and don’t lose sight of your goal even when faced with difficulties, but see the analysis and resolution of complex technical problems as a personal challenge. Your training will be supported by experienced and helpful colleagues. Requirements
- Completed technical or scientific studies (computer science, mathematics, physics, or comparable course of study) or corresponding professional experience on the job market
- Very good PL/SQL and SQL skills
- Practical experience in database administration
- Profound command line knowledge (e.g. shell scripts, SQL prompt, Linux tools)
- Basic knowledge of Java programming and XML is an advantage
- Experience with interdisciplinary, cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical, conceptual and creative skills with a high and solution-oriented way of working
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
