• As part of the platform framework and infrastructure team, you contribute significantly to the development of solutions for information acquisition, evaluation and analysis
• As a DevOps expert, you work your way into complex existing systems and renew them for the future
• You design and maintain the common infrastructure based on artifacts of a software life cycle as well as the development of a holistic delivery route with a focus on reliability, automation, scaling and special security requirements
• You take care of dependencies, security issues and hardware utilization limits proactively and independently
• You provide internal advice on problem solving scenarios and integration of departmental requirements, taking into account cost/benefit considerations
• In particular, you will be responsible for designing monitoring for the various environments taking into account industry standards and best practices, but you will also be directly involved in maintenance and monitoring topics yourself
• You will work on our strategic IT issues of the future and take responsibility for selected topics in joint coordination

Your training is supported by experienced colleagues. During this phase, you will come into contact with various topics from our wide range of professional tasks and get to know the characteristics of our existing infrastructure. Our daily routine includes feedback loops between experts from the fields of expertise and technology in cooperative cooperation. • You have a degree in natural sciences (e.g. computer science, business informatics, etc.) or completed IT vocational training with appropriate professional experience
• You see yourself as an innovation driver with a mature personality who does not pursue individual tools but holistic approaches with conviction and is happy to take on responsibility
• You have very good knowledge and experience in Linux distributions, ideally Ubuntu LTS Server, although knowledge of other distributions is also welcome.
• You have practical experience in migrating existing and new Docker containers to orchestration platforms (Kubernetes and/or OpenShift) and operating them
• Topics and tools related to the operation of orchestration platforms such as Keycloak, LDAP, Apache proxies, routing and firewalls, observability, Ansible, Terraform or Helm charts are part of your daily tools, at least in part
• You are happy to contribute your strong interest in understanding used and new technologies in depth, as well as your efforts to find holistic solutions
• You are interested in agile project process models (Scrum, SAFe)
• You have strong communication skills (across team and management levels)
• You have very good German language skills (at least C1 level) and good written and spoken English (at least B2 level)
