Senior Java Full Stack Software Engineer - Cloud Modernization

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver user-focused software solutions.
• Design software architecture, select appropriate technology stacks, and define deployment strategies.
• Develop high-level application architecture, components, and interface designs.
• Build and maintain user interfaces and backend services, including REST APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and engineering teams.
• Define and implement software testing strategies, standards, and best practices.
• Improve application performance, scalability, and development efficiency.
• Follow modern software engineering practices, including Agile, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
• Implement security best practices to protect application and user data.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve software solutions.
• Support application modernization and migration initiatives, including assessment, planning, execution, troubleshooting, and post-implementation improvements.
• Lead cloud migration efforts by developing migration plans, managing risks, coordinating resources, and ensuring successful delivery.
• Provide technical guidance on cloud architecture, security, and performance best practices.
• Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java development, cloud-native architectures, microservices, and application modernization, along with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions., * Bachelor’s degree.

• 15+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Java (Java 8/11/17+), Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, Git, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining Java services integrated with legacy systems.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications into cloud-native architectures.
• Experience re-platforming or re-architecting Java or COBOL applications into containerized microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application design patterns, including event-driven architecture and 12-factor applications.
• Familiarity with legacy modernization strategies such as API-led integration, strangler pattern, refactoring, re-platforming, and re-architecture.

• Experience assessing application portfolios and recommending modernization approaches. Preferred Qualifications

• Certification program.
• Experience with Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
• Practical experience with Generative AI solutions, including LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases.
• Experience with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, or similar technologies.
• Experience integrating Generative AI into enterprise applications.
• Understanding of responsible AI practices, including privacy, governance, and output validation.

• Experience using AI to support application modernization, code conversion, automated testing, and documentation. Required Skills
